Search warrants obtained by ABC11 show police have been investigating a couple employed on the UNC Chapel Hill campus for possible sexual activity involving juveniles.

The unemployment rate in NC fell to 9.3% in October.  A year ago the jobless rate was 10.6%.  Also the number of people working climbed 43,699 to nearly 4.3 million in the state… that’s an increase of 95,425 from a year ago.

UNC Chapel Hill's campus is under an alert after what police call a serious incident off campus early Wednesday morning.

Now, campus officials are asking state transportation planners to consider building a pedestrian bridge or tunnel across the corridor, which bisects the campus, housing and shopping.
