Cooper Says Duke Price Hike Is Too Much

Attorney General Roy Cooper said Monday his attorneys plan to appear before the North Carolina Supreme Court Tuesday to argue against a rate increase requested by Duke power.
In a news release, Cooper said a 7.2 percent rate hike and a resulting 10.5 percent profit margin is too much.
