NC Governor Roy Cooper Writes Letter To President Trump That He Is Disappointed

In a letter written to President Donald Trump and congressional leaders North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper expressed how shocked and disappointed he was by the lack of federal Hurricane Matthew aid for the state of North Carolina.
Cooper said he has learned that North Carolina will receive just $6.1 million, less than 1% of the $900 million requested for resources needed to recover from the historic flooding.
