It’s the holidays and many are in need of a free meal, a great deal or even gifts for the kids. Our community calendar has a list of different things that happening this weekend.
Lost Sheep Ministries and Rev. Brickle are giving their annual Christmas celebration on Saturday…
They are kicking it off with the gift wrapping party this Friday December 16th from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm at the Gathering Pl. 3500 Woodmeadow Pkwy Raleigh NC. The calls are coming in all day for families needing toys for the kids and we are still in need of toys, socks, scarfs, toboggans, gloves, wrapping paper and tape. On Saturday December 17th from 9:00am until 2:00pm It is the day of the celebration. We have a full day planned, we will be offering haircuts, manicures, Walgreen’s will give 90 free flu shots, free prescription cards, an opportunity to mail Christmas cards out to family and friends, face painting, a worship service and a meal along with the gifts giving. Volunteers are asked to show up by 7:00am if possible to set the building up.The only thing we need for Saturday is desserts and drinks. Again if you need more info please contact Rev.
