According to wral.com on February 5th a judge ordered Wake County Schools to pay a man’s estate $225,000. Joe Shelton of Clayton who was 41 years old was killed when he was hit by a school bus in 2013
The report states that Jimmie Eberhart of Cary was the bus driver. The report stated that Ederhart was making a left turn onto Edwards Mill Road when the bus collided with the scooter.
