UNC Head coach Roy Williams was taken to the locker room and spent the entire second half of the game there after he fell to dizziness because of a spell of Vertigo.
Assistant Steve Robinson took over coaching and the Heels broke their 2 game losing streak with a win over Boston College 68-65. Williams said he did not return to the court because he didn’t want to be a distraction.
Williams said, “I’m alive. I’m kicking,” …. “I couldn’t be happier for Steve. He’s like a brother to me and he coached his buns off tonight.”
