Monday afternoon Fayetteville police searched for a 21 year old who according to Investigators shot his mother’s boyfriend several times at a home on Moore Street.
The shooting took place at about 7 a.m., investigators said they found 63 year old Mason Montgomery suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his hands and feet.
Montgomery was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition. According to investigators Montgomery’s girlfriend is Christopher Davis’ mother, Christopher shot Mason Montgomery several times and left the house with a gun.
Police said Davis was last seen headed toward Hillsboro Street and he is known to frequent areas along Hillsboro Street from Rowan to Ramsey streets. Anyone with information about Davis’ whereabouts should call Fayetteville police at 910-303-9554 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
