Fellow artists and musicians paid tribute to R&B singer Natalie Cole during her homegoing services yesterday.

Stevie Wonder played harmonica and sang “The Lord’s Prayer,” while Lionel Richie talked of the pressure Natalie faced trying to make it in the entertainment industry as the daughter of a legendary singer.

Others in the entertainment industry included: singers Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, Cole’s frequent producer David Foster, actress Angela Bassett and the Rev. Jesse Jackson.

Freddy Cole, the singer’s 84-year-old uncle and the last surviving brother of Nat King Cole, also attended.

President Obama sent a letter of condolence to Cole’s son, Robert Yancy.

Cole, 65, died of congestive heart failure on New Year’s Eve.
