AAA has estimated about 3.1 million people traveling more than 50 miles from home for the Thanksgiving holiday and with that in mind, drivers can also see an increase in the “po-po.”
NC will conduct the statewide “Click It Or Ticket” campaign starting today and continuing through the holiday travels.
Law enforcement will be looking for speeders, as well as seat belt violations, and drivers will be fined if caught in violation of seatbelt laws… and fines have increased from $161 to $179.
