The average gasoline price fell another 10 cents making gas prices nearly $1 less at the gallon from last year.
The reason for the decrease in gas prices are bigger U.S. oil inventories and a stronger U.S. dollar.
According to NBC news regular grade fell to an average $2.24 per gallon from $2.34 in the Oct. 23 survey.
The lowest average price per gallon in the Lower 48 states was in Charleston, South Carolina, at $1.85 per gallon. Los Angeles came in highest, at $2.87.
