Pastor Ronald Godbee of The River Church in Durham, North Carolina is a man of unprecedented vision. His desire is to fulfill the mandate of God by extending the kingdom on Earth (Matthew 6:10 – “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven”) and touching every life he can while doing it. He does that by establishing The River Church as “The Cities Church”. Not only does he invest in the lives, talents, gifts, callings, and destinies of his congregation – but of the city, and ultimately beyond borders.
His outreach and service to God’s people is one that educates, equips, and empowers. Blessing those that may experience brokenness through reconciling fragmented families, feeding the hungry, mentoring many, and BEING the presence of God in the community are just a few ways he desires to build lives, loyalty, and legacy.
