You may remember the story on March 3rd where three men robbed a truck transporting several gold bars from Florida to Massachusetts. The robbery took place in N.C. in Wilson County. The robbers stole 275 pounds of gold totally approximately $5 million dollars.
Yesterday one of those stolen bars was recovered in Florida. The bar is said to be about 26 pounds and worth approx. $500,000.
The FBI is still looking for leads and is offering an award of $25,000 for any information leading up to an arrest of the robbers.
