Grammy & Stellar winner Beverly Crawford has broken new ground in her illustrious gospel music career as her 7th solo CD “Thank You For All You’ve Done” has debuted in the #1 position on next week’s Billboard Magazine Top Gospel Albums sales chart.

Crawford has spent the last two decades in the gospel spotlight as one of the primary exponents of churchy gospel music. After spending 6 years as a featured singer on BET’s “Bobby Jones Gospel” TV program, she released her debut CD “Jesus, Precious King” in 1995. Along the way, she’s performed at campaign rallies for President Obama, earned a Grammy Award nomination and even performed a duet with Natalie Cole on national TV. Her biggest selling album to date is 2007’s “Live From Los Angeles” (featuring the radio smash “He’s Done Enough”) that dominated the Billboard charts for over 70+ weeks and garnered 7 Stellar Award nominations including CD of the Year, Artist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, etc. Beverly’s follow-up album, “Live From Los Angeles – Vol. 2”, featured the smash hit “It’s About Time For A Miracle” which also dominated the Billboard charts for over 63 weeks with Beverly winning her 2nd straight Stellar Award for Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year.

“All I can say is thank you God and thank you to all of the people who have bought the CD,” says Crawford. “A #1 album is something that I would have never imagined for myself but I’m truly thankful for the support that radio and fans have shown the project and it’s my prayer that the message of the music really encourages and inspires everyone who hears it.”

Crawford is currently circling the USA on an aggressive 100+ city tour to promote the new project and her pulsating remake of The Caravans’ 1962 classic “Sweeping Through the City” is currently #11 on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Airplay chart and rising! The dozen-track CD was recorded live at Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, TX and was produced by Michael Bereal and Professor James Roberson. It’s an engaging balance of the traditional, Sunday morning church-styled songs Crawford is known for alongside well-crafted contemporary praise and worship songs by noted composers such as Melvin Williams, Derrick Lee, Stan Jones and Rodney Posey.

Crawford and her husband/ manager Todd Crawford currently co-pastor The Gainesville Family Worship Center in Gainesville, FL.
