Every Monday WRAL TV5’s news anchor Gerald Owens recaps the biggest news stories from the weekend and previews what is coming up in the evening news. Today Owens recapped the following stories: Moral March on Raleigh exceeded the anticipated 20,000 expected to participate in the event, two children that were injured in a weekend house fire were admitted to the hospital, a man wanted for hit and run that injured a motorist Saturday night was arrested  after he returned to the scene of the crash.

Tonight at 5:00 pm, 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm Gerald Owens will talk about Federal Investigators trying to figure out what caused the HMS Bounty ship to sink off the coasty of North Carolina and the Governor is promising to give teachers a pay raise and not all teachers are happy about that.
