Saladin Muhammad, a retired worker, was the first of the Moral Monday protesters to stand trial and was found guilty of all charges.  Muhammad’s charges included tresspasing, failing to disperse & violating building rules at May 13th’s protest in Raleigh and was sentenced to pay a $100 fine after a 6 hour trial.

Muhammad is one of 940 protesters that were arrested. 

Protesters were against bills that would damage working people, low income families, public education and the enviroment.

So is this how we spend our tax dollars????
