Family claims Raleigh police’s use of SWAT team out of control

Bobby and Octavia McPhail in mid-September arrived at the North District precinct to file a complaint with the Raleigh Police Department’s Internal Affairs unit.
Soon after entering the precinct, the McPhails spotted a poster attached to a metal detector.
Headlined, “A Dangerous Armed Suspect,” the poster displayed photos of their son, Antonio McPhail, and his vehicle, a white Ford Expedition.
