From the Salvation Army of Wake County to the Durham Rescue Mission and even one charity in need of books… giving is down and they need your help.
The Salvation Army of Wake County and the Durham Rescue Mission are in need of new unwrapped toys for kids ages 3-13.
I talked with Mr. Delainer this morning at the Durham Rescue Mission and he says they are about 4,000 toys short and you can drop them off at the mission – 1201 East Main St. in Durham, ask for a volunteer and they will come out and help you.
There is also an organization that has adopted a local elementary school and needs your donation of new or gently used books to provide as gifts to the students of CC Spaulding. Listen below:
