A Carterville, Illinois elementary school is mourning days after one of its kindergarten teachers hanged herself in her classroom.
Linda Walker, 45, was found hanging in her classroom by a coworker at Tri-C Elementary School on Monday.
“Fortunately, our kids, staff and community is a tight, resilient group,” Carterville Superintendent Robert Prusator said. “This is a day where everyone digs down and does a lot of work.”
