North Carolina voters will determine party nominees for state races at the polls today. All eyes are on Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate seat, where no candidate is polling close to the 40 percent of votes needed to win the election. Democratic candidates spent Monday making last-minute pitches to the voters. As of Sunday, 33 percent of the voters still don’t know who they will vote for.

For any of the Democratic Senatorial candidates to walk away with a victory on Tuesday night, they will need at least 40 percent of the votes, or else they will be heading for runoff in June.

Polls are open throughout North Carolina TODAY from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
