Student Charged With Manslaughter

An East Wake High School student was charged Thursday with involuntary manslaughter in a high-speed crash Monday that killed a classmate.
Austin Wade Marx, 17, of 204 Gail Ridge Lane in Wendell, surrendered to authorities Thursday afternoon. He was released into the custody of his parents and was scheduled to make his first court appearance on Friday morning.
