Today is Veterans Day and, several national restaurant chains are showing appreciation for veterans and active-duty members of the military with complimentary meal deals and treats. Participating restaurants are listed below:

Applebee’s:  On November 11, veterans and active duty military may dine in any participating Applebee’s location for a complimentary main entrée during its normal business hours. Entrees are limited to seven preselected dishes. Proof of military service is required.

Golden Corral: Golden Corral is offering up a free dinner buffet and beverage to all veterans and active duty military on November 15 as part of its Military Appreciation Monday.  The “thank you tribute” begins at 5pm and will last until 9pm.

Outback Steakhouse: Outback Steakhouse is honoring the troops by treating them to a free Bloomin’ Onion ® and one non-alcoholic beverage on November 11. Military Personnel identification is required.

Chili’s: With proof of service, veterans may also stop by Chili’s for a free meal on November 11 from a select menu.

Hooter’s: Veterans may also swing by participating Hooters locations all day on Veterans Day to choose from four specialty menu items and fill up their stomachs for no cost.

Krispy Kreme:  Hot Doughnuts Now! Stop by Krispy Kreme and snag one of Homer Simpson’s favorite treats (donuts) for free on Veterans Day if you are a veteran.
