Here’s something the kids and the “young at heart” will want to see…. A trio of topiary dinosaurs have popped up in downtown Raleigh.

The bright green installations are part of the city of Raleigh’s effort to celebrate the Dueling Dinosaurs exhibit at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.

The dinosaurs are Bex, Pterry and Trish and here’s where you can find them:

  • Bex the T-Rex (They/Them) is located in Moore Square
  • Pterry “Terry” the Pterodactyl (He/Him) is in the Exchange Plaza
  • Trish the Triceratops (She/Her) is located at the corner of Morgan and Fayetteville street.

According to the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, there will be a special “Jurassic jubilee” on Friday, Aug. 2 (First Friday) to welcome these ancient ambassadors to downtown

The dinos are expected to stick around through the rest of the year
