The Chicago officer who fatally shot Ronald Johnson last year has dropped calls for the court to levy sanctions, or penalties, against the the victim's mother, who allegedly made threats towards him on social media, CBS Chicago reports.

Barbara Dawson, 57 died early Monday morning after a limited stay at Liberty Calhoun Hospital. Dawson arrived at the hospital on Sunday at about 10:30 p.m. with complaints of intense stomach pains.

According to The Huffington Post, Officer Richard Haste, 34, earned $88,614 in 2015 and received $25,000 in raises since gunning down Ramarley Graham in 2012.
