Certain pharmacy chains are recalling some liquid children’s cold medicine marketed under various brand names and store labels.
The manufacturer, Perrigo Company told CBS that the recall are for bottles that display incorrect markings with errors that could lead to accidental overdose.
The recall includes grape and cherry-flavored guaifenesin liquid sold in 4 oz. bottles with the dosage cup in a box.
Those medications were sold as store-brand generics at:
CVS – Lot Number 5MK0340 and 5LK0630.
Rite Aid and Kroger – Lot Numbers 5LK0528, 5LK0630
Dollar General – Lot Number 5LK0630
