Some Cary residents expressed their shock and disbelief when a neighbor hung a stuffed mannequin by a noose from a tree outside her home. The home is located at the corner of Cavendish Dr. and High House Rd.
One neighbor is outraged and calls the Halloween decoration racially offensive.
The mannequin has its hands tied behind its back with rope around the neck and it was wearing black socks but they save since switched them to white socks.
The resident who hung the mannequin says she didn’t mean to offend anyone and that it was just supposed to be spooky.
What’s spooky about that??? It’s SCARY that she would think that too.
