This morning an Amber alert was issued for a missing 4 year old boy. Ari Yanitan Aguilar-Castillo, that authorities believe was taken by a 45 year old white male.
Just hours later the alert was cancelled when the little boy was found. Ari’s brother told WRAL that they were playing hide and seek when Ari hid in their mother’s closet underneath a pile of clothing and fell asleep.
The family said they called the boys name several times and he did not respond. The Durham police department searched the apartment and the boy was not found until later.
