The Light 103.9 shined bright at the Stellar Awards this weekend!

Our very own Melissa Wade “In The Water,” took to Charlotte, NC, in attendance at the 2026 Stellar Gospel Music Awards that took place August 15.

Wade, who is a two time Stellar Award winner for Gospel Announcer of the Year, attended the Stellar Award pre-show as a presenter during the ceremony.

The Stellar Awards, also known as the “Greatest Night In Gospel,” is a ceremony to recognize praise, worship and gospel artists along with media achievements who keep the genre alive. This year, many heavy hitters, including Darrel Walls, Lisa Knowles-Smith, Jonathan McReynolds and more, took home awards in a variety of categories.
