After a key witness didn’t show up for court yesterday; the judge dismissed a noise complaint against New Hope Church in Durham.
The neighbors in the Hills at Southpoint subdivision have complained that services at the church are too loud and invade the privacy of their homes.
Since this case had been delayed once, the churches attorney moved to have it dismissed and the judge agreed. The Durham County DA’s office says it will appeal and now the case goes to Superior court.
