The Sisters Network Triangle NC is an African American survivorship organization for women with breast cancer, and this year they are sponsoring an educational outreach event to help educate African American Women about the importance of breast cancer.

Sisters Network will be hosting its 1st National African American Breast Cancer Conference Tour.  This one day event will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Radisson Hotel, 150 Park Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709.  The Tour will be inclusive, open to breast cancer survivors, community stakeholders, caretakers and the general public.  Registration begins at 9 :00 a.m. and tickets can be purchased for a fee of $25.00 accessed on the National web site (http://sistersnetworkinc.org/.

 This year’s conference tour will highlight local doctors to include: Dr. Paul K. Marcom, “Triple Negative Breast Cancer”, Dr. Mark Graham, “Advanced Breast Cancer”, and Dr. Keith D. Amos, “I’ve been diagnosed with Breast Cancer..What Now?”.
