Former president George H.W. Bush is still in the hospital as he undergoes treatment for bronchitis. The 88-year-old has a “lingering cough” after six days at Houston’s Methodist Hospital but hopes to be discharged by the weekend.
Bush has a form of Parkinson’s disease. He last spent a night in the hospital in 2007 after fainting from dehydration.
He is the oldest living former president.
