Veterans Day Parades
We will recognize Veterans Day tomorrow and most schools will be closed on Monday to recognize the day.
Today the holiday was recognized by parades and other events. In Raleigh the NC Veterans Day Parade began on Fayetteville st. Mall at 9:30 followed by the wreath laying ceremony at 11am.
With Fayetteville being one of the largest military bases in the US it is no surprise that thousands lined the streets for their parade at 10am. After the parade many will gather at the North Carolina Veterans Park at 12:30 and thema family celebration at 1:30pm.
