Setting a new Olympic record…. Tianna Madison, 200-meter champion Allyson Felix,  Bianca Knight and 100-meter silver champion Carmelita Jeter set a world record and came away with the gold in the 4×100 relay today.

Their final time cut more than a half-second off the old record of 41.37 run by East Germany in 1985.

Jamaica won the silver and the bronze went to Ukraine.
