Today President Barack Obama signed a historic $938 billion health care overhaul. This law will guarentee overage for 32 million uninsured Americans. Immediately it will offer tax credits to about 4 million small business owners to help them cover the cost of insurance for their employees, people with pre-existing conditions will be able to buy and afford insurance, insurance companies will no longer be able to drop consumers if they get sick, and no limits on the amount of service they recieve, and young adults can stay on their plans until they are 26. The President says we are celebrating “a new season in America.” “We have now just enshrined the core principle that everybody should have some basic security when it comes to their health.”
