A Tampa couple is outraged after an On Star operator refused to unlock their vehicle when their 9-month-old was accidentally locked inside. Ashley and Joe Abdo immediately called OnStar, a company whose ad campaign promises peace of mind in any emergency situation even if your keys are locked in the car. But Ashley said what she was told was shocking. When connected and the couple explained the situation but were told that their membership had expired and that there was nothing that they could do. When offered to give them the company a credit card over the phone, they were denied. Ashley ended up smashing the window of her car. Leila had been locked in for fifteen minutes.
