WakeMed Limits Hospital Visitors

As RSV and flu season begins so does restrictions

WakeMed Health & Hospitals will begin annual visitation restrictions on December 22 to limit the spread of respiratory illnesses like RSV and flu. Children under 12 will not be allowed in hospital units, patient care areas, or waiting rooms to protect vulnerable patients. Similar restrictions will be implemented at Duke Health and UNC Health facilities during peak respiratory virus season.
