After a weekend strong storms in the Midwest and South, meteorologists say they could be heading our way. According to local meteorologists hail, strong winds and isolated tornadoes are moving east and could affect parts of central North Carolina during our evening commute home and on into the evening hours.   The National Weather Service said thunderstorms approaching the Triangle this evening could be “particularly dangerous” and have issued a severe thunderstorm watch for most of our area until 10pm. The brunt of this system looks like it will approach our area this evening between 5-7pm.
