Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the home invasion style robbery where American Idol winner Scotty McCreery and some friends were the victims. The area is an apartment complex near the North Carolina State University campus, where McCreery is a student.

American Idol winner Scotty McCreery and some friends were the victims of a home invasion style robbery early Monday morning. Authorities say that three armed people came into the home and took wallets, cash, and electronic items before fleeing. No one was hurt.
