After a 2nd night protest leaves a man shot, in critical condition and on life support, Charlotte’s Mayor Jennifer Roberts may be calling for a curfew beginning tonight. Gov. Pat McCrory has sent in the North Carolina National Guard and the State Highway Patrol to assist local law enforcement.
Protests were ignited after 43-year old Keith Lamont Scott was shot and killed by a police officer. Two different versions of what happened has come about with the police reporting he had a gun and disregarded demands to drop it but a neighbor reports that he was holding a book and not a weapon as he waiting for his son to get off the school bus.
