Small Plane Lands On I-540 In Raleigh This Morning

A small plane landed on the shoulder of Interstate 540 in north Raleigh Tuesday morning just before 9am. Not much is known at this time and it’s unclear if anyone was injured in the incident.
Authorities were diverting traffic around the incident. Drivers should avoid the area if possible.
