25yr old Major Earl Edwards Jr. was arrested and charges with the murder of taxi driver, Jose Nicolas Dominguez.
Dominguez was shot and killed at an apartment complex on Hodges Creek Drive on Monday morning.
According to Wake County criminal history reports, Edwards has a long rap sheet including assault on a female, possession of marijuana with intent to sell/deliver, breaking and entering, and larceny after breaking and entering.
Edwards is scheduled to be in court on Tuesday afternoon.
