One person was killed in a Durham crash that was discovered Monday morning on Hwy 54 near Hope Valley Rd. Witnesses stated that it appeared that a car went over a guardrail and went down an embankment.
It is believed that the accident happened sometime overnight, but wasn’t discovered until around 7 a.m.
Police closed Hwy 54 while doing their investigation. The victim’s name has not been released yet, but they did say the victim was a man.
