USA today has named Taraji P. Henson their “Entertainer of the Year” for her role in the soapy hip-hop drama ‘Empire’.
Cookie Lyon has given Taraji national and international recognition. TIME magazine naming her the most influential fictional character, and the role earned her a 2016 Golden Globe nod.
Taraji’s success has her even selling her house because she says she doesn’t feel safe having a home where anyone can walk up an knock on her front door.
