“Lord Take the Wheel”…. and he did. In these perilous times another story of a parent trying to kill their kids.
Durham officers responded to a call to Shearwater Drive shortly after 9 p.m. on Sunday, as Alan Tysheen Eugne Lassister, 29, tried to drown his 3 kids in a nearby lake.
Neighbors heard the commotion and called authorities, while the 7yr old boy was able to get away and run for help. The other 2 children a 3 yr old and 5 yr old girls were pulled from the lake and are being tread at the local hospital.
Lassiter is in the Durham County jail under a $2.25 million bond.
