A local church is trying to bring a group of ten orphans from Haiti to North Carolina.
Horne Memorial United Methodist Church in Clayton, founded the Ryan Epps Home for Children in Haiti. Their building was damaged in last week’s earthquake and the children have been living outdoors since then. And there also are concerns over the children’s food supply running out.
The church is said to be filling out paperwork to try to legally bring the children to NC for a while.
