Mario J. Brown aka “Rio” is a notable, gifted, anointed, singer, and songwriter! He has the distinct ability to write songs of various genres and the ability to do so with timeliness and perfection. His music has a cross over appeal and is very refreshing. It sends you on a journey and ultimately leads you to a place of truth within yourself. The music that he creates is well crafted, unique, and unduplicated.

Mario J. Brown was born and raised in the city of Milwaukee, WI. He is married to Kenya Patterson-Brown and is the proud father of four children, Jae’min, Brooklyn, Sydni and Londyn Brown.

He began singing and playing the drums at the age of two. He grew up in the church “Greater New Life C.O.G.I.C”, under the leadership of his grandfather, Rev. Joe Orr.

Presently, he is signed with Gospel icon Fred Hammond and Bronx Bridge Entertainment. He recently toured with Fred Hammond, Byron Cage, J Moss and more. He has been a guest on The Yolanda Adams Morning Show and released his debut album “The Mario Brown Project” September 4, 2012 in Stores and Online (Walmart/Best Buy/ iTunes/Amazon). He is featured in Sister To Sister Magazine (October 13′ Issue). He is a Praise and Worship Leader and the Director of Music and Fine Arts at Parklawn Assembly of God in Milwaukee, WI, under the leadership of Pastor Walter Harvey.
