North Carolina Central celebrated last night during a special selection viewing watch party at the McLendon-McDougald Gym. NCCU solidified its’ tournament appearance by beating Morgan State during this weekends Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship game. Last night’s announcement marks the first time that NCCU has ever been invited to play in the NCAA tournament.
