GSN (Game Show Network) announced recently that it has green-lit the new original series It Takes A Church, with singer Natalie Grant as the host.
The episode will consist of the congregation of a designated church playing matchmaker to a single unattached member. The show will visit a different church every week. The Pastor of the church will task certain members of the congregation with finding the best possible matches for the single parishioner. In the end the single member (contestant) will decide on the final pick. So far the network has ordered eight episodes of the series, and it’s scheduled to debut in mid 2014.
GSN says they are excited and with the success of shows like “The American Bible Challenge” they are looking forward to great success because viewers enjoy seeing people follow their faith and creating positive change in the world.
