October is both Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness Month and local singer Veronica Morgan shares her personal story about derailing with both. The up and coming Gospel Music recording artist’s music is a reflection of the challenges that she has faced in her life. Here is more information on Veronica Morgan.

Veronica Morgan is an anointed singer, evangelist, speaker. She believe’s in spreading the gospel of God’s love, healing, and miracle-working power. Hailing from Wilson, NC, this independent artist released her debut album/memoir “Glory in the Rainbow” (2011) which told of her journey and victory over stage 3 breast cancer. Some survivors decide to write books but Veronica decided to share her story through song.

Due to the special anointing placed over her life, many have been touched and even healed by “Glory in the Rainbow.” After realizing the impact her music has on people from various walks of life, she has decided to release “Only Believe.”  “Only Believe” is a single coming off her upcoming second album “Celebration of Life.”  The song continues to offer hope reminding people that all they need is mustard seed FAITH to move mountains and that God is a miracle working God whom can do what seems impossible.  This single shows both the growth and unwavering faith of the artist.

Veronica Morgan has been able to grace the stages of RaleighNC’s 2010 Women’s Empowerment Conference, Spiritual Awakening, TCT, Atlanta Live, and Bobby Jones Presents. She was a 2012 North Carolina Gospel Announcer’s Guild Prestige Award Nominee for Female Vocalist of the Year.
