Praise & Worship Leader Curtis Finch Jr. Voted Off American Idol
Gospel favorite “American Idol” contestant Curtis Finch, Jr. voted off last night.
With one of the biggest voices of the competition, Curtis Finch sang “I Believe I Can Fly” but it didn’t seem to fly with the voting audience, and even for the judges who could have saved him– a safety net that can be used only once a season.
Some fans criticized Finch as appearing to be arrogant and “over-singing” his songs.
His elimination came as a surprise especially Nicki Minaj, who all but threatened to leave if Finch was sent packing.
