Former President Bill Clinton is planning a visit to Raleigh on Sunday in support of an effort to help to re-elect President Barack Obama. Details of his visit haven’t been released.

Clinton initially was scheduled to be in the Triangle on Saturday, but campaign officials said Friday afternoon that a scheduling conflict forced them to move his appearance back a day.

With the election next Tuesday, over two million North Carolinians have already cast their votes during early voting. Last count 34% of registered voters in NC have voted early.  Approximately, 2,087,461 have voted and another 165,847 casted absentee ballots.  Early voting ends Saturday November 3, 2012. The General Election will take place on Tuesday November 6, 2012.
